I agree with slamdawg and the others... if gangs want to war, we ought to put a pile of firearms in the center of some old abandoned (but fenced off) military base in Arizona or something. And stash some beef jerky and water bottles around the place. Then let them in through opposite gates, and let 'em war all they want. Wouldn't even have to clean up the mess afterward.
Agreed. Do not misunderstand me... I am not a fan of censorship at all. But to show violence all over the place, THEN censor nipples on a late-night TV show, for example, is just plain wrong. It means that society is pretty sick at some level.

The cop was CLEARLY out of line. He tasered her AND kicked her while she was being tasered... then, he kept telling her to do things WHILE she was being zapped, which is just not realistic. When you are actually getting the juice, you are not capable of following orders!
Yeah, I think the camera"woman" should get the treatment. Not only was the girl not "knocked the f* out", she was sucker-punched. From the front, yes, but it is obvious she was not expecting it.
@rainman: IMHO, Scott should pull the registration of someone who blatantly copies another's identity.


Anyway, I think this the guy in the clip is a good candidate for the Darwin Awards.

@ cpt_Renzo: Who has been telling you that the world was safer in the 50s? Maybe in the sense of the chance of nuclear war... today, there are too many unstable little countries with bizarre ideas that have the bomb.
But as for society... today we have TOO MUCH "safety" and not enough freedom. It's makes for a pretty shitty and boring existence.
Interesting (and sad, in a lot of ways) how society has changed. This video was "interesting" enough to put on TV, but it never even occurred to anybody to think of it as "child abuse". I am not saying that throwing knives at them is a wonderful thing to do... but kids today have been pampered and "protected" so much from the real world that it looks like we are going to end up with an entire generation of wimps. That is not a good thing.

Having said that, yeah, the guy was grandstanding. Did you see the one dude give the "cut him off" signal? Just before the cops grabbed him?


Rather than being hauled away, he should have been told that his time was up, and his mike cut off if necessary. Physically hauling him away was completely unnecessary, and I agree that it was out of line.
Now, THERE is one that would actually get the cop fired and maybe even jail time in the U.S.
Talk about "drunk driving"! How could someone run into two police cars with their lights on? The guy must have been on something heavy.

They are NOT "rubber coated lead bullets". That would be a complete waste of time. They are just hard rubber, no lead. And yes, they CAN kill. They just do it a lot less often than lead bullets do.
The cop was out of line to have shoved him in the face. Even so, his reaction was not the brightest in the world.

This is also why one should never "amateur" bungee jump.
