No biggy en_jay, wasn't expecting an essay-reply, was just admiring your attention to things that matter like corrupted law enforcement. The created (law enforcement) has in many cases, turned on its creator (the citizenry) and it is not optional whether or not to take a stand, thank god some people do. I know quite a few police from from state troopers to local beat cops. My second born was named after a good friend who was a Seattle policeman, nicest most uncorruptible guy in the world. And then I knew a detective from Palo Alto, California (the boyfriend of my girlfriends sister at the time) who could be one day helping to save Palo Alto residents flee from deadly forest fires in the hills and the next be using and dealing confiscated cocaine. Another cop I've known a long time, a state trooper in Michigan who was my neighbor across the street where we grew up is strictly by the book. The corruption and power drunkedness by law enforcement has ramped up since the 80's and to make matter's worse has taken on an overt militaristic style of citizen intimidation since 911. Obviously the citizenry has ramped up its bullshit too with many cops confronted only with their own humanity in the way they react to it so, respectfully speaking, it takes a well grounded disciplined soul to assume the role of the modern policeman. No need to reply mate, I understand you're busy.

Would the response I gave really make any difference in any way shape or form in your mind????...I do like to read your posts you are funny....I also like to say hello to folks here. I really do not wish to get into a long winded "quid-pro-quo" on a forum with someone who I really do not know just for the hell of it. As I stated before, my post wasn't aimed towards you...sorry if you took it that way. No disrespect to you... I teach Psychology and Forensics at the College level part time, and have a busy schedule....If you want some info I'm happy to share... please limit your question to one at a time or I'll get a head ache and you may get offended again....

Was just reading your comments in NTFan's sb about closing the corrupt police department, what state was this if I might ask? I find that very interesting as an ex-police friend and myself worked to have a local police department closed down and replaced by the county sheriff's office in central Washington State in the mid 90's. A corrupt, pompous narcissistic chief of police was hired by an equally corrupt, pompous and narcissistic city council, who immediately clamped the wasteful "D.A.R.E" program on the city based on a smidgeon of graffitti the police chief found on a small water company pumphouse. That was the least of it. This guy was already in scandal from the jurisdiction he was hired from for condoning (and being involved in) the use of excessive force as well as a pattern of intimidation. Now I have the utmost respect for most levels of the police (I studied law enforcement fresh out of high school for 2 years but ended up pursuing computer science) with the idea that the police are subservient employees of the citizenry, not the other way around and have no tolerance for the abuse of power increasingly seen leading up to September 11 where the establishment of the Dept. of Homeland Security as the enforcer of the so-called "Patriot Act" with that agency making law enforcement agencies in all states at all levels its baton boys all in the name of "domestic terrorism". Such a farce. Anyhow with an informative website, FOIA and a little anonymity we drove the chief of police and his handlers in the city council insane which of course exposed their even truer colors resulting in 1/2 of the council being ousted as well as the whole local police department and the jurisdiction now looked after by the much more historically valid and safer sheriff's department. Using the Internet nearly 15 years ago to expose government corruption was not "mainstream" yet and it made such ripples in the state that newspapers and radio and TV came calling for interviews from across the country which were summarily ignored as I distrust the media more than politicians.
