the other day, you left a shout, and i've been meaning to reply, but now i definitely will -
there was a comment you posted today about if you were the girl's father you wouldnt be there. well, if you were the boy's father you probably wouldnt be there either, and i think that is a huge reason for the cycle that follows. i can merge our comments together and it would explain why the kids are not dissuaded from joining a gang by any father figures in their lives. (or not necessarily joining gangs, but changing their path in life in whatever negative manner). different environments can mold individuals to act and think in different ways, some others may deem unacceptable. but when you dont have a father to look up to, where do you look for guidance and discipline? who walks you through the passage of becoming a man? paternal advice? not having a dad will fuck you up, black, white, christian, muslim, republican, democrat. some overcome, and others, like saxondale pointed out the other day, just give in to their primitive urges and desires, using every excuse under the sun to condone their own behavior. but i do believe it is all connected. then again, i also believe the government was putting cameras in all the digital tv converters.
anyhow, funny comment however they took it. - have 'em both, i don't know your preference.
