Boo Hoo...Yes the Big Bad US is holding all of you as our personal slaves. You must do as we say because we will use our voodoo powers to infect your minds and take over your bodies!! If our country is so bad, stop sending all of your people here to get educated. When another one of your kids is born with his twin attached to his head, stop sending them to our doctors to get separated. When the next Saddam Hussein pops up (read: That wingnut in Iran) and invades your country, don't come crying to us for help. Last time I checked, we haven't hijacked any European Countries, otherwise known as allies. There was no outcry from them when the twin towers were struck. Yet when bombs went off in Madrid and London, we were asked to send forensic investigators to aid... You missed my point, altogether. I am not defending what the troops did in this video. Sure, are there some idiots over there in Iraq, absolutely. The majority of the soldiers/marines are good, hardworking troops. They sometimes do get jaded and stuff like this happens. Putting all the videos of the soldiers helping people on NT would not be very entertaining, would it? Yet that is the norm. stuff like this tank video are the exception...The fact that you buy into the fact that 9/11 was some type of conspiracy shows your absolute blindness and unwillingness to accept anything good about the US. How can you say al quaeda was not responsible when Bin Laden himself took credit for the attack?? C'mon. I suppose you believe in aliens too? Also if we are there to get Iraqi oil, then why aren't we?

Perhaps you should look in the mirror to see who is brainwashed. I won't disagree with you about the war in Iraq. it was wrong to send our troops over there based on shoddy intel. But we are there nontheless. Once you start that mess, you just can't pick up and leave in the middle of the night. You have to restore some order before you move on. How were things going in Iraq before we got there? The shia muslims were repressed by the Sunni. Now it's payback time. These idiots would be doing this to each other even if we weren't there. Christians do not refer to non believers as infidels. You do not see catholics beheading protestants in the civilized world, do you? Yet muslims feel free in the middle east to behead those who do not believe what they believe and they do this in the name of God/Allah. Sunni behead Shia and so on. Tainted, I am surprised you so vehemently defend the islamic religion when islam has such a poor record regarding womens rights? Women are akin to property and not respected as an intellectual equal to men. Secondly, For all the US bashers...We bailed your European asses out twice with the Germans. If not for us, you would all be speaking German and carrying swaztikas. Don't believe me? Without the US theres no D-Day...No invasion of France and no push through to Berlin. For You Canadian haters of the US...If not for us and our protective nuclear defense umbrella, the Soviets would have annexed your feeble country 40 years ago. Does the US make mistakes? Sure. It's really kind of sick to be making light of this video. This is how most cops are killed...on car stops. Despite what some of your viewpoints on law enforcement are, this guy is first and foremost a human being, just doing his job. Know one deserves to die for just doing their job...It looks as if he is a Pa State Trooper...If so there is a "move over" law in Pa. Passing motorists must switch lanes if they have another lane to use, which the offending driver clearly had. I have never seen a Pa Trooper approach on the right...I think thats how their academy trains them. He did nothing wrong. Thank god we just watched him get injured and not killed.

The cop was wearing a fucking gas mask...I don't think he was out for a midnight stroll and decided "I think I'll OC spray the shit out of these innocent bystanders".. He was there for a reason, obviously a disturbance...If the police don't show up then all you whiners cry "where are the damn cops when you need them!" Then they show and restore order by using reasonable force and you ACLU types are crying foul. Its a thankless job. No matter what, the cop is gonna piss someone off. For all of you that have supposedly been "wronged" by the police, there's always a second side to the story and I'm sure none of you have embelished at all. I'm not saying that there are not any bad cops, but by the way some of you talk you would think that they're all criminals. Do any of you know the rigorous training and backround checks and polygragh tests that one must pass to become a cop? Probably not, unless you are one. They don't just let anyone become a cop...it's not 1920 anymore. Most agencies require, at the very least an associates degree to even apply. Many require bachelor's degree's. So your rants about cops being uneducated buffoons is just another uninformed way of taking shots at men and women who do a job that most of you couldn't do.

Actually what he did is against the law...Its called disorderly conduct. He caused a "public inconvenience and annoyance". Most states have a law similar to this. Furthermore, the college is private property so they (the college) have the right to ask anyone they want, to leave...Let's not confuse democracy and freedom. 1st of all the US is not a democracy, it is a republic with democratic principles. In a democracy, the majority rules. In a republic, the minority is protected. The United States is a free country, but it is not lawless. Without law you would have absolute freedom which is chaos. People are free to do what they want WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE LAW!! Sorry to those of you that cannot grasp that fact. If you don't like it here, then move to another country. If you live in another country and you don't like ours, stay there. But the bottom line is that most people that live in this country, love this country and would gladly lay down their lives to defend it, just as hundreds of thousands of past American Patriots have done in the past. You don't find thousands of Americans climbing over electrified fences and trudging through the wilderness to get away from this country everyday. But you do find people from other countries doing that to get into ours. Jealosy is a stinky cologne. You can all go pound sand.

Puerto Rico is a US territory only. They have they're own constitution. So for all intents and purposes it is a different country. Once again, everyone draws a conclusion from a 1 minute shitty video clip. While it certainly looks like a bad shooting, you can't see everything that is happening and you don't know the backround. I have been to Puerto Rico and the cops down there don't dress like that. They do dress like that in Mexico. So I'm not sold on the fact that this is supposedly Puerto Rico...All you cop haters talk your shit, but who do you come running to when you need help? So unless you can come up with a better system, shut up and stop bitchin.
What is wrong with you people!!! What do you do when you have a police officer standing in front of your car, pointing a gun at you and telling you to stop? My 2 year old apparently knows more than most of you because he said "you stop". If the guy in the car disagreed with why he was stopped, that certainly wasnt the time or the place to contest it. Police do have the authority to stop, detain and apprehend criminals. Since when did stopping for the police become optional? And by the way...a car is a deadly weapon, just check the statistics. More cops are killed by cars than by gunfire...but, oh yeah, thats right cars are not weapons. Maybe if any of you actually faced a real life and death situation, you would have a different take. Unfortunately sitting at home playing SOCOM 3 is about as close most of you will get...If you don't like our police why don't you move to Rwanda or Chechnya, where they respect everyone and never abuse people...You guys don't realize how good you have it.

Let us not forget one thing...these were renters. I'm sure none of the people staying at this place were the owners of the property. In many college towns the landlords will have clauses placed into the lease agreements stating that he (the landlord) or his "agent" may enter the premisises if he believes the agreement is not being adhered to...Many of the landlords are putting "no alcohol" clauses in the lease agreements. I'm not saying that this was the case here, but it is possible. I have already seen this in practice where I work and it sticks in court.

Like I said in an earlier post...check out the video of deputy kyle dinkheller. It is a sad video showing what happens when an officer hesitates to use deadly force when he was justified. In the Dinkheller video, you will notice that the deputy tells the offender to drop his gun at least a half dozen times...What you may not be able to see because of the video quality is the offender is actually loading the rifle as Dinkheller is telling him to drop the gun. Unfortunately 1 warning was all it should have taken and then the deputy should have taken him out...but he hesitated and because of it, a young deputy was killed.

Folks...shooting people in the leg or arm just isnt gonna happen...most departments have strict policies against intentionally shooting someone in a limb. Secondly, for those of you who think there are to many "trigger happy cops" out there...Nationally, over 99 percent of police involved shootings are ruled justifiable...If any of you would like to see what happens to cops who hesitate i suggest you watch the video of Deputy Kyle Dinkheller's last minutes on this earth, I believe its on this site somewhere. As you will see...many cops are not "trigger happy" and it got him killed...And thanks, i'm really not trying to make any enemies here, but i do feel strongly about this stuff. So thanks for not getting to pissed at me, but I've buried two close friends that were both killed in gunfights.

And yes it was a type-o... was supposed to be "textbook"...An d i like looking at this site cause theres alot of interesting stuff on it...Cops actually have a sense of humor and we breathe air and eat food and sleep just like other humans...And i'm not sticking up for those guys...plenty of cops have done stupid shit, and i'll be the 1st to jump on their case. 1 asshole can make the other 99.9% of us that are good, honest, hard working cops, look bad. The video doesnt show the whole story on this one either...there were two cops sneaking up on the other side of that car, they were going to try to ambush him and take him down without using their pistols... but he turned toward them and made what one of the officers interpreted as a "threatening move" toward the oifficers...In the acedemy cops are taught the 21 foot rule. Anyone within 21 feet of you can close on you faster than you you can draw and fire your gun...granted these guys already had drawed down on him, but he was still way to close for comfort...you will notice that the lead cop attempts to back up until the offender makes a move toward the officers hiding behind the car...
I'll give you the answer to your question...it's a two part answer. There was a case going back at least 30 years...and i cant recall the name of the person involved, but it ended up in the Supreme Ct. An Officer shot a person armed with a knife (same type of situation) in the leg and ended up killing the person. The individual's family sued the police officer and his department because he was not officially trained to do what he had done. The state court upheld the decision but the US supreme Ct overturned it. In the ruling the Justices stated that if Officers were specifically trained to shoot at limbs...that it would contradict Tennessee Vs Garner...ie, if an Officer feels he has to discharge his weapon that the use of a firearm in and of itself is deadly force. It is a moot point as to where in the body the offender is shot. The Supreme Court affirmed that training Police to "shoot at extremities" would open the police officer up to civil litigation if the offender was permantly mamed or died as a result of a "maming" shot... This is the same reason why you no longer see police officers where "expert marksman" pins on their uniforms. It decreases litigation..."Office r if you are an expert marksman why did you shoot my client in the testicles in such a cruel an unusual manner?" 2nd reason: much higher probablity of a miss and wounding innocents. Very difficult to hit someone in the leg or arm..they are usually moving.
So people struggling with mental problems can't kill people...Does that somehow make them less dangerous??? Is that what they are supposed to tell my wife and kid when they knock on the door to tell them i'm dead? "Oh we are sorry for your loss, but if it makes it any better your husband was killed by a guy who was having mental issues and not a real criminal, i'm sure he didnt mean to do it?" And Shite...if you would read the body of the message instead of letting your negative bias for cops overwhelm your ability to reason, you would have noticed that I DID NOT SAY that cops are trained to kill people, they are trained to use adequate force to stop an assault. Perhaps if the Officer had a taser available he would have used it, but in fact the agency in question did not authorize its Officers to carry tasers...Unless any of you have ever been in armed conflict, you have no idea how fluid the situation can be...there is no testbook to follow. I'm sure Zeek will have a juvenile remark in response to this post...
I'm sick and tired of people always beating up the cops for doing their jobs...The cop didnt wake up that morning and wish to get a chance to shoot someone. Cops are not robots, they're humans. That guy is going to have to live with that image in his head for the rest of his life. Lets not forget who put them in that situation...THE GUY WIELDING THE KNIFE... Also some of You watch to many movies. Police are not trained to shoot people in limbs. Street cops are trained from day 1 in the academy to shoot center mass (torso) and in extreme circumstances, cranio-occular (head). Police do not not shoot to wound people or kill them. An Officer shoots to stop the assault...period. The officer fired 1 shot and the assualt stopped. The Officer has the obligation to protect himself and others... At some point the officer felt that someones life was directly threatened and took action. He had to make a decision in a nano second that will probably be critiqued for months. Remember each one of those Officers has a family to go home to...That individual with the knife made a choice dont blame the officer, blame the individual with the knife for forcing their hand. Also...no K-9 handler in their right mind would release his dog on an individual that was visually armed...And yes, I am a 9 year veteran Police Officer, so I have some experience in this field

I'm tired of people saying that the cops have better things to do than "Harass" some poor lady...did she break the law? YES!! If you want "selective" enforcement then you get the ACLU 10 feet up your ass because they say your profiling...Folks, cops have a thankless job. No matter what they do, they're gonna piss somebody off. Now I'm not saying that these 2 were right for denying her medical attention, but people will say or do anything to get out of being arrested...the blood on the pants should have been a warning sign and they missed it, so they were wrong for that. But, please don't condemn all cops because of the mistakes of a few. Cops are not robots. They are human beings and are subject to the same human shortcomings that we all have.
