The camara pans away from the naked man for a substantial amount of time onto the guy holding the machedi. This is where (I believe but not sure) the naked man folds his arm inward and has a fake arm on the rock. If you look over and over at the naked mans arm it looks as though he unfolds his arm after the cut. I am not sure though. This had disturbed me before but I didn't watch it carefully enough.
