All of this banning has gotten OUT OF CONTROL! We have to keep it lose & free & not so strick on the rules. Even I let shit slide that's offencive to me but we all have to be aloowed to be ourselves around here even if who we are is a big ol' douche bag! I see the DUMBEST shit being deleted. It has to stop! It's a damn site for seeing fucked up shit for Christ sakes! How PC do we have to be!?!?

Well….where do I start… I have never really had conversations with you, but I do want to share how I feel about the whole Forum thing. As you know regardless if you want to believe it or not...I stopped posting in the forum section in July. I did stop by from time to time because there are 3 members that would PM me. ...once last night the other this morning. I just read that I was Banned because you think I am King Man. I have heard since I joined the forum that I was Kyo...Pumekup… and other alts which is untrue. I have even received PMs from some who said that there were a few that had the same IP addresses. When this started I gave a way to check out who I was by giving my website info...I teach at the College level part time, I am a State Investigator and I am also a Part Time Police officer. I don’t fit the profile of creating alts…this is a “profile 101” issue is someone took the time to check it out. Because I was not so popular there maybe because I am a Police Officer or what ever the case. Slamdawg checked me out and found that my statement was true. This is a simple basic thing to check out but no one did it. I never felt like I fit in with anyone except with a few over there so it is no problem...I just wanted people to know that I am who I say I am...I have only Posted by "N-T-Fan". It seems, and in my opinion, that if a person doesn't fit into a certain click they are not welcomed. I will still post over at the video section but I wanted you to know this and the fact that someone posted that there are a few of us that have the same IP Address is simply an excuse! Why would we ( the same people ) be talking to each other on PMs? can't you check that out? Non the less...I do wish you and the rest of the folks all the best in the future....I never have talked to you much but look forward to talking in the Video section.

For those of you who may want to comment on the decision to Ban Tapeworm, I am here to take full responsibility for this decision. After consulting with all the mods of the site in the forums, I wrote a personal e-mail to Tapeworm (the content of which is below) to plea with him to remove the link from his shoutbox to another site which is against NT rules. You can read his response here also. I feel I did evrything I could to prevent this, but regretably, in light of the reply posted here, I have banned Tapeworm this morning.
Sorry to those this upsets (myself included) but we can only have one set of rules as we all cried out for NT to be cleaned up.

I am writing to you out of respect for you as a valued NT'er and someone who I have come to consider a friend.
I understand your support for Marie. I have NEVER had anything against Marie, i was not part of any bitching about her in the forum's, indeed it happened before I was a regular in there to the best of my knowledge. It was decided that posting these links to other forums was not to be allowed and as part of a nice and friendly message to Marie, I asked her to remove it as we can not have different rules for different members. many NT'ers know of her site and were regulars there anyway. New members seeing her link and going to her site to read bitching about NT would not have been fair on NT.
Marie chose to read my polite request, delete it, and post a shout in my box insisting i get over to her site instead.
I asked the opinions of others in the forum and the decision was reached. My shout box was then FILLed with links to her site and the repeated message "Sushi is a Two faced Tw*t". This confirmed to me that not only had I acted fairly, but had done the right thing. How can we enforce a rule and allow exceptions to that rule at the same time. The regular cries in the forum and in the VCS was to clean up NT, this was part of that process. Not saying that Marie was a blemish on NT in any way, but she made a deliberate decision to ignore the request and flout the rules. I still have nothing against her, but when I joined her site and posted link to NT on it, I was banned within minutes, so she must live and die by her own sword.
You however, are one of the most popular posters on the site. Your humour is bordering on genius and your attitude is spot on. I have never heard a bad word said about you and have certainly never had any of my own to say about you. I am therefore asking you to delete the link from your shout box, PLEASE.
I note you have not commented on the site since last month and you may have already decided not to come back, but then to post this shout and copy it into your own box for all to see so that I can be vilified after you are gone is the last thing I would have expected from you.
I want to be able to read your comments in the future. I would like to see you post regularly in the forum. I don't want you not to be on NT anymore, but, in the same way you now Mod on Marie's site, I am a Mod for NT and it means that you have put me in a position that I don't enjoy, but will act upon if you will not here my plea.
I will repeat one last time. Please be the friend that I like to think of you as and delete the link from your shout box. I sincerely hope you do and look forward to reading your comments again soon.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to withdraw my statement.
But you know that I can't back down on this and although it means that you will ban me, I still stand by my original statement.
I have enjoyed posting here for longer than I care to think and its sad that it has to come to this. I have made some good friends here and that includes you, but I know the score about the build up to this event. The forums are an open book that I and many others read and naturally, if I see any thread about the forum where I am a mod, mentioned, I am curious.
Yes Ive put you in an impossible position. But don't feel too victimized. This is aimed not just at you, but at the other elitist members of NT who consider internet bullying a game.
Its odd don't you think, that racism is so frowned upon here, yet this bullying is acceptable, particularly in the forums, where the elitists tend to hang out.
I had plans to return to NT and continue posting but I guess it is just not meant to be. I believe in making a stand when I see an injustice....and perhaps, this possibly futile gesture will fall on deaf ears..... I hope not.
I am aware NT will continue long after I am baned and now the new owner has taken it on and re shaped it, now doubt it will grow. I just hope those who use the sword, grow with it.
For old times sake.

When Scott introduced the shout boxes he deliberately kept Mod control out, so that the individual could post or edit in any way they chose. Even to the extent of posting links, as many people here do. As far as I am aware this still applies.
What you and Marie say to each other in your shout boxes and what you choose to do in them is a personal issue and not one that involves the power of modship.
I believe you have abused your modship to ban Marie because you and some others have taken a personal dislike to her. Which, apart from all the mud slinging after the event, is a little unfair considering the support she has given you over recent personal events and the warm welcome you were given when you joined her forum.
I don't expect you to unban her, it wouldn't be the sort of thing you would do, and frankly I don't suppose she would want to be unbaned. After all, and as you would know...there is no such thing as bad publicity.
I am going to post her link in my shout box. If you choose to ban me because of it, so be it, but by doing so, you choose once again to overstep the mark.
