Don't act like any other religion has never done any destruction and killing in the name of "god". Does the word Crusades mean anything to you? If not google it. Religion has and always will do more harm then good. It's just a crutch and a roadblock on mankind. It prevents people from thinking clearly and evolving. But you must be a Christ follower, so I expect you to be blind to the facts.
