Because saying "cookies" or "toothbrush" are okay. Tourette's is where your brain lacks the ability to stop the things we shouldn't say from being said. And the words don't have to be consciously thought about either. that's what makes it so random.

On a side note, I once saw a guy with tourette's. It was at the 2004 election and my voting place was at a place that deals with mentally disabled people. It was really hard not to laugh when a patient down the hall kept yelling nigger at the top of his lungs. Just one of those things where it's sad, but funny at the same time.

Otherwise the Down Syndrome vid would have never been posted (if it were up to me) and neither would any of the vids that bring on racist BS. I think that you should not delete anything, I mean look at youtube. They delete nothing and they are not as cool as this site. Censoring people is never the answer. I must apologise for my previous comments especially if i offended people , but you see i also suffer from a disorder too. when ever i see new age bullshit i cant help but blurt out sensless remarks. I dont ever recall anyone with tourettes in the 60's 70s or 80's it seems to be only afflicting the 'X' & 'Y' generation. poor little buggers. Getting back to my disorder it hasnt been completley diagnosed yet but it has somthing to do with being fed a constant barrage of new age bullshit that causes me to react incontrollably.
