It's not fake. I knew a guy in the army that trained in that kinda stuff. He would do things like hit you in the arm with one hand and in the neck with the other. It puts your artery in your neck into shock for a second. It always has to be another blow to distract from the neck shot, doing that makes you tense up in the spot of the first impact and relaxes the neck, enabling it to go into a quick short shock for knock outs.

Its not bad enough that he was just compleatly incapacitated, the guy had to keep slapping him in the back of the neck!
