Not kissing the floor, bot bowing her head. To show repect. I gather the girl who was beaten dis or said something disrepectful. And the shoe part, I'm surprised no one else mentioned it, shows humiliation. Remember Iraqis beating the statue of Saddan Hussein with shoes after it was torn down and dragged away by Coalition Forces?
