Joey Barton is a reasonably talented footballer (soccer player) who's anger and inability to control his temper have led to him being arrested on a number of occasions. In my opinion he is a good footballer. He is committed and NEVER attempts to injure fellow players (unlike Roy Keane). However, off the field he is a disgrace. He has been arrested countless times. He once broke a stranger's leg by ramming them with his car. He has been arrested for assault on numerous occasions. He once stubbed out a cigar in his team mate's eye following an argument. He has also been arrested for assaulting a fan of his OWN team following a training session!
However, he's not as bad as his brother Michael Barton who is currently in jail for murdering someone with an icepick in a racial attack.

joey has within the last hour been given a 4 month suspended sentence for k.o a team MATE on the training ground 
he is currently serving a 6 month sentence for the assault in the vid, this is a guy who earns around £30,000/$60,000 a week it just goes to show u can take the man outta liverpool but...............
