some ww2 facts: Hungary was forced to step to war and acted as a slave to war by Germany. Not a partner. Hungary never wanted to win ww2, 'cause never had powerful army and never had ambitions like that. Hungary was always a multicultural nation, deriving inner tensions to solve, not to multiple it. Hundreds of thousands of hungarians were transported to workcamps, many of them died there. First by the germans, than later by the russians. And this egg throwing is about the contract of 45 billions forint of the hungarian government and the microsoft. Meanwhile the gov. speaks about the money shortage and put extra taxes to the people. And with this contract they shut out the free softwares and operating systems from government usage for years. Sorry for my english. I hope it was understandable what i wanted to say. And in Hungary you are not allowed to carry a gun, even have one. You could been sentenced if you'd own a piece of ammo.
A PERFECT EXAMPLE of how activism CAN work: We are seeing this on Nothingtoxic.com ONLY because the man threw eggs at a Microsoft titan.
Subsequently, he got to say his piece about how Microsoft stole money from the Hungarian people.
So the man has successfully made us a little aware of perhaps some unfortunate dealings between Microsoft and Hungary. How else would we know this? Not by watching CNN. So the next time we hear of Microsoft or Hungary, we are a bit more aware of something we did not know before.
This was happen in Hungary on the Corvinus University. This is not the guy's shame... This is a true Microsoft and the corruption of Hungary's shame. Here in Hungary we are living worse and worse, and our asshole "leaders" pay our money for unusable things (and moving it to their families...) We don't care about Steve Balls and his eggs, we care about our shit life and corruption. Hungary should use warezed software for free, and take care of the health care institutes....
