not to sound as if animals have no rights, but think about it, for many animal the circus might be an improvment, aside from not knowing if its gonna be able to eat every night, i would not be the least bit surprised if following commands and stuff is enjoyable for the animals, think of a dog, for example. it gives them a purpse, and they loko forward t it. besides, if it really didnt wanna do what it was told, it could just fight back...(*see above*)

This happens quite alot, apparently. I worked in a zoo and it was evident that elephants get extremely depressed (and then of course aggressive) if confined to small spaces. These animals shouldn't be treated as if they're the size of cats. They need space!!!

No jokes today. I like animals. sometimes i like them more than people. I like elephants, they are very intellegent creatures. The last time i went to the circus at madison square garden i had to take my daughter to the ladies room. we sort of got lost in the stairwell and i thought i was opening the door to the level we were suppose to be on, instead i opened the door to a creepy white room full of elephants chained to the floor. It was one of the saddest things i had ever seen. and i felt bad my daughter had to see that. never again can a circus that has animals get my money. i'm sorry the man got trampled but, elephants are too smart for hum
