Umm well there are ppl from my country that resort to "healers,magicians" whatever name you like that in times of desperation have resorted to these things.I don't think many have beaten them if ttheir loved one got worse.It's just not acceptable as wasn't here either since he was prosecuted.Would you beat up a priest for praying for a loved one?

Religious figures are some of the most corrupt in America, absolutely. I might even do it for free. Seems like a basic moral rule is when people are going through hard times you don't lie to them to make profit. Their witch or shaman, whatever, I'm sure there are herbal remedies etc that they can use to some effect, but in real life words aren't going to help anyone. You might not want to bullshit your way through life because there are a lot of people that don't take too kindly to that sort of thing.
