You can get Pythagorus theorem, but find speed/distance perception difficult... If I see a bobbling HID headlight, my first thought is - This guy is coming at me at twice the speed limit. I can't tell you how many accidents I've avoided because I do the thinking for the other guy.

What I've realized is an 'accident' means more to me than to the other guy. I had a guy cut me off in an Infinity in the far right hand lane when I was taking a right hand turn (to get onto a straight section of road). All along he wants to test it, so I'm giving him the opportunity and he practically side-swipes me.
