No. It's real. Software can keep up with high velocity projectiles. Think about the Phalanx missile defenses on ships. Or the Skyshield anti-mortar defense. BTW, this is the XM1028 120mm Cannister round. Considering how many targets it hit (and their elevations) I'd say it's a pretty badass shell.

There is no way that a camera could keep up with the projectile that well!!
