I always take my own piece of rope with me at car events. I hold it out in front of me and nothings ever hit me yet.

If that car was doing 30mph when it hit them then I can run at 40mph. Car was doing about 10mph when contact was made. I've been hit by a car doing 20mph. It fucking hurts but i was ok. The main problem wasn't the speed of the car. It was the fact that the people weren't expecting impact. If they were thay would have been better prepared to roll with the impact. Do you get what I mean? I hope i've explained it in a way that makes sense.
