I'd rather be a cop than a fireman. At least when you're a cop They arm you with a gun & tazer & such to fight off & defend yourself aginst crime. But firemen are just NUTS! I'd rather dodge bullets than flames. My hat off to these guys!

Patty Barr is one of the toughest guys ever to be a member of the FDNY. They leave out the fact that the guys on the roof were holding the rope, it WAS not tied off to anything. The members supported Pat by putting their feet on the wall and having other guys sit on them to prevent him and Jose from falling to their probably deaths. I wish they had news choppers then cause to see 3 guys piled on each other holding a rope would really add to this amazing video! His son just got on the job, I am sure the tradition will continue, just now in the Bronx.

Brilliant. Firefighters amongst the bravest people to live. My great-uncle died saving his men from a fire in a battery factory in Oldham. True bravery these men possess. Makes me sick to know that these brave men die saving lives yet scum like Ian Huntley and his cunt of a pal on here are allowed to walk the earth.
