bout time this place got some proper crossing barriers like we have here in good old England, that way there can be no mistake, you go past the barriers you gonna die, these half and half barriers are just inviting people to try their luck. Chances are he didn't even see the other train he was so focused on catching the other one. Much like the lady in her car with her kids who tried to outrun a train not realising there was another coming from other direction!
