Why didn't they taser him? Every other cop video they tase the hell out of people. They tase people for not signing speeding tickets for farting in public and whatever else they can think of. Why not this jolly sack of chub? Its a good thing that dog didn't charge him from the look of that guy he would have either eaten the dog or raped it.

the only time the fat man was a threat after that first punch was when the bartender was tryin' him halfway through the video after the pepper spray. the whole time the fat dude is just standing there, doing nothing, it looks like he's talking at one point... and this cop is talking about almost having to use deadly force? since when is taking a drunk dude who obviously got into some beef with the bar owner to jail worth shooting him for? and for that matter, is it worth whacking him in the face with a fucking baton, or knocking his kneecaps out?
after that first punch in the beginning, he wasn't attacking the cops or anyone else. this shit is fucked up.

You people claiming the drunk was not a threat and the violence wasn't called for are fucking delusional. It doesn't matter if he wasn't throwing more punches. He was struggling to resist arrest when they were trying to cuff him. What else are they supposed to do? Ask him 'please' over and over all day? The cop tried to handcuff him, and told him to get on the ground, and all he did was struggle to get away. He was perfectly fine in using force to subdue him at that point.

You should consider: Whenever a cop goes to a fight, at least one gun is involved. I doubt the cop would've used deadly force at that point in time, but if the fatass had started wrestling with him and trying to hit him, maybe. A cop CANNOT lose a fight under any circumstance, because if they lose the fight they lose their gun.

at the end of the day , police love it i spoke to a copper this week at the courts and he was tellin me all about adrenilin and car chases ,t hey want u to play up and make a fuss so they can lay into u or there left to their own devices with some comunity poice lady who has been passed round the mens lockers room that many times ,theyre holdin a raffle on who the father of the baby is in the new pc's womb is , police are just another gang , but they allways win as theyre so bitter and twisted from bein bullied thru life cuz they were real numptys at school , as in the words of a famous rap band f**k the police

i remember about 8 yrs ago a retired cop about 55 yrs old came to join our company just to top up his healthy pension btw.
he lasted about 3 weeks, revenge was sweet
he just couldnt handle it on civvie street without his uniform and his mace spray.
he was a wreck when he walked out.
