hell its not weird to admire an animal, what makes you think that?some animals are so cool!i like the part where they casualy walk away for a little bit before taking off at running speed,i guess its so they wont trigger-off the chase instinct on the dogs......cool vid.too bad nature has to be so blunt. ![]()

These goat (I don't know the name in english) are lucky because they got rid of these hyenas, they normally never stop, until they're getting their target. there is two animals which I hate, it's Hyenas and the other one I don't know the name of, but it's the crow/bird that are eating everything flesh after hyenas or lions have eating. any know their name?

dirty bertie from number 30 - thanks, yes it was called vultures. vultures and hyenas are the two animals which I really hate.
red6ixx - well I don't live in a english speaking country, so you cannot expect be to speak, spell or know english perfectly, because in my daily life I never speak it, or read, only little bit in internet and so on. I know the name in danish, but you wouldn't understand it anyway, as I read it down, (I didn't know the word in english) respect that.

It's a wild dog you morons, not a hyena. You should be dragged out back, put up against a wall and shot for being so stupid.

At the end the cow says to the calf," ok kid, now just walk away slowly, DON'T turn around, just act nonchalant, and when I say run, then run like hell, ok!?". "O.K. mom!". Cow thinks to self, after they get away. now all I have to worry about is them fuckin lions having a go tonite, sheeit!.

They are Wild dogs and not hyenas do some research before spouting off.
Hyenas have smaller ears and a low rear end.
And no they are not part of the canine family they are a breed of there own. They are more related to cat's than dog's.
Hyaenidae......

"...They call them African Wild Dogs. I call them pissed off, inbred Australian Shepherds on steroids..."
For those who are not aware, the African Wild Dog - Lycaon pictus - is not a domestic hybrid running feral.
The evolution of the Painted Wolf is as pure and authentic as Canis lupus. It evolved entirely on its own.
To the misinformed, the title 'African' Wild Dog' is quite misleading. Much of the world assumes the term 'dog' to indicate domestic breeds. Many forget its scientific reference - 'of or pertaining to the 'dog' (canidae) family', which contains various forms of natural Canine, such as Wolves, Foxes, Jackals, and Coyotes.
Lycaon pictus is neither a Jackal, nor a Wolf. Due to differences in dentition, it harbors its own category in Canid classification.
The unfortunate confusion resulting from the label 'wild dog' is frequently considered the cause of much persecution against this truly amazing species.
They are intricate and capable hunters, tangling with prey much larger than themselves. L. pictus weighs an average of 35-80 lbs, and yet they remain one of Africa's most victorious pack predators, with a hunting success that outranks Hyena Clans and Lion Prides.
They are extremely vulnerable to domestic harbingers, such as distemper and rabies.
