The only way to cheat in arm wrestling is to lift your elbow off the table. The Iraqi could have pulled the same way but either could not or did not. Size does not always mean strength. I beat guys with bigger arms than me all the time. It's not all technique you obviously must have strength, but when you combine strength and technique, you have a lethal combination.

well i'm not a expert or anything but the angle of the big guys arms versus the soldiers arms clearly put the soldier at an advantage. Also, arm wrestling uses more stabilizer muscles in the soldier than anything else and the type of training the army does focuses on this. The other guy just had huge arms in general but his soldiers look like they are lacking in proportions. Class dismissed now, remember your book reports are due next week.
