Superglue was invented for the Army to use out in the field as a quick way to close a wound as opposed to sutures. I had a tear in the heel of my foot where you could see the end of the skin and the beginning of the red, like a fish gill. So I soaked it in alcohol and carefully applied SG to the skin and not the red part. It closed up nice and healed in two days now.
