@GlenyD Yeah it was outlawed about 120 years ago. I used to do it with my buddies for money. The thing is, both participants agree to call it 'sparring' if the feds come, because they have no way of differenciating fighting or sparring. @Vid great fight. I think Jorge is the better brawler.

Ray fights like Kimbo - he wants to go against those fighters they can basically knock out with one punch. Taking the fight over an extended period of time is pointless because once they're out of breath, they can no longer function. They simply aren't conditioned for that type of fighting.

This is why Kimbo lost to Gannon, and this is why Ray lost to Jorge, twice.

good fight. i love seeing jorge fight and win against larger opponents because he is the same weight as me and has a similiar style except i am 6'3" haha. buy yeah, this is a really good fight, i wonder why ray allows knees/clenching/kicking while kimbo doesn't.

This is fought under old time bare knuckle boxing rules ,around lasts till you get knocked down, you then have 30 seconds to get back up,some rules change fight to fight but usually its ..no hitting on the ground , no eye gouging, no biting , and no hitting in the groin

It was good but I think the other fight was better that was a bit short seemed like Ray gave up even faster that time.

Lot of button mashing toward the end but still a great match. Really thought Ray was setting up the counter for a devastating EA Sports Haymaker. Hopefully Ray will hit the speedbag and Jorge will weight-train to boost their backyard boxing stat deficits respectively. Here's hoping for a rematch

jorge's overall conditioning was better than ray's. jorge was able to avoid ray's power shots (for the most part) in the first couple of minutes and after that ray was worn out. I like these old time bareknuckle fights, a lot more than that rolling around on top of eachother holding the other guy down stuff.

Actually, I think part of Ray's problem in that fight was that he broke a metatarsal in his right hand but was too proud to wimp out. Must have hurt like a bitch.
