@ bankyconan: I'm with you... In the city, close to where I live, one of the homeless shelters is full and people set themselves up in tents and the city council decided that tarnished the "good" image they were trying to portray. The police were ordered to evict these people and instruct them to go back to wherever they came from. Fact is the local economy is very strong but there is a severe housing shortage and rent is very high. Many of these people are working but simply have no place to stay. The city owns alot of vacant properties and so far have chosen not to open any of them up for these people.
It is a sad situation.

And yet, none of the problems have ever gone away. We would really be better off if there was no president. I also ask you, what has the government ever done for you, if you work and pay taxes? NOTHING. You pay for everything you use, the governement does NOTHING for you.

It truly is unfortunate for someone as decent as this to end up on the streets AND missing half of his face of all tragic circumstances . I suppose in his position, when you have close to nothing left, all you can do is appreciate what you do have, but even then it's remarkable to keep such a light disposition. He's a real trooper

Here's something that might surprise you: I'm pretty sure it is a congenital deformity...meaning that this guy has looked like that his entire life. The positioning on his eye socket and the shape of his forehead leads me to believe it's some type of severe cranio-facial defect he was born with. Poor dude.

This is the type of homeless person I would give money to. There are homeless people out there that are in good physical condition but are just too lazy to get a job. This guy probably can't get a job because of this face, its not his fault.

This really makes me sad because the reason he's homeless is most likely because of his disfigured face stopping people from hiring him, I've seen tramps and majority of them are homeless because they're drunk lazy bastards, but this guy gives off that "nice guy" vibe. If he didn't have the disfigurement, he'd probably be just like one of us.
