The train on the mainline did not stop for a "Red Block Signal." The opposing train was to take the siding at this meet. If you watch the signal at the switch, it changes from a red over green to red over red. By that time, it was too late to do anything but jump or ride it out. The video camera is activated by the horn valve mainly for crossing accidents. Not sure how this one got out, but I am sure the BN-SF railroad is not too happy to see it posted.

Just crazy man , just so damn crazy.

Maybe it was a mistake or maybe something went wrong with the computer and well mistakes are made every day by people.

I don't know where this was taken, but on the rail systems here in New York City, there are automatic train stops to prevent that. Obviously, one train was supposed to swith to the siding and wait for the other to pass. That is like what happened to Casey Jones. DAMN, though.
