First of all, the copt that stopped him should have been more polite with his fellow officer. He should have been alot calmer than that. The idiots that came in later should have played good cop and settled this peacefully. But they knew he was gonna get angry and they instigated it even worse. Stupid Pigs...

Ulrik I think you hit it pretty much on the head with the authority issue - people who give orders are often times horrible at taking them. That and the obvious racial tension that could possibly have fueled the black officer's rage. All sorts of greys in this situation.

i am totally with gunsboy on this one...the arresting officer shouldn't have been such a dick...he should be letting the cop go almost regardless of what he did(within limits of course) by their mutual code and not telling him that the county on the plate is obstructed and that's against the law.....let's face it: it's cause he's black and this is probably down south, not too far, but south nonetheless

I've seen the whole clip of this on TV. There's more that they're not showing here. The white cop was being a total dick and trumping up bogus charges and escalating the situation. The black cop could have been a little calmer, perhaps, but he was really getting fucked with for no reason. This ended up going to court and everybody was eventually cleared, but I remember them interviewing the white cop and he was still an arrogant asshole. Fuckin' pigs.

This is old but a classic none the less. I think the officer was spoiling for a fight because he pulled the guy over for a bullshit reason. However the black dude was being a prick himself and being a cop he should know not to act the way he did. If the black guy would have just been cool and not lost his head it wouldnt have escalated the way it did. But I also know what its like to get my balls busted by a rogue pissed off at the world cop like this guy did and it sucks so I can see why he got so aggravated. Just a bad night all around for everyone involved. I wonder if that cop will be so quick to pull someone over for a bullshit reason now.

Anyone defending the black guy is a complete idiot. I got pulled over the exact same reason (problems with my plates). I didn;t flip and give the cop a reason to take me out. I had to pay the fucking ticket just like any other citizen would. Just cause hes a cop doesnt mean he's above the law. He broke the law and should be handled accordingly; just like any other citizen would be treated.

Uhhh can anyone tell me why when that white Cop other buddies showed up he (the arresting cop) said "GIVE US A CLEAR CHANNEL, HE's GOT A GUN" when its already been determined that A. The guy he pulled over was a undercover cop and was probably on duty or something. Also one of the officers who showed up pushed him or something AFTER HE PUT BOTH HIS HANDS UP IN PEACE, PROBABLY TRIED TO CALM THE OTHER OFFICERS WHO WERE AGITATED ("HEY, HEY!" Theres a big black guy with a gun near a white police officer! WHAT THE FUCK?) AND RILED UP FOR ACTION and THEN SAT DOWN CALMLY IN EXASPERATION (stop resisting us sir!). Frankly they could have just spent a little time there talking or shouting it out, and ONLY after the black guy refused to be arrested by the sole (or multiple even) officer should he been chased down and restrained. This sounds reasonable to me Then again what the fuck do I know as a civilian right? Anyway if that movie Super Troopers was anything to go by all Highway Patrol Officers are morons compared to city cops. And i'm sorry if Highway Patrol Officers aren't troopers because I don't live in the US and I have no idea of the distinction between the different branches of the local law enforcement agencies.

Well even if that cop was putting all those extra charges the black cop was very out of control like grabbing the ID and calling him a liar and saying the F word to him.By this point doing this he got that other cop worked up and he did sat down but he did not stay there he walked away when he wa being investigated witch was big no no.
If he was calm and was watching want he was saying he would not be going to jail.And if he was very nine and talked out in nice way I'm sure other cop would not put all thos extra charges do to he being cop and nice.
