I thought the police poured gas into the theatre to knock everyone out including the terrorists so that they could apprehend them while they were unconscious. Guys, armed men on this video and the operator are not terrorists, they are russian soldiers. They have russian uniform and speak russian.
Its terrible to see such a picture wherre a man is hit:( Hope he stayed alive.
It reminds me of one of the most terrible operator videos - an operator in Beslan was filming when he got on the line of gunfire. He tryed to hide behind a car, but he was hit several times. The camera depicted as he was crying of pain and blooding so strong. Then he died.:(

Well obviously some human death is good. Everyone dies and not all deaths are tragic. But the slaughtering of any human being is sad in one way or another.

Hey, don't forget - Russia started this war. The Chechens are fighting for their own country, they don't want to be part of Russia and they have been fighting for 500 years for their own country. The school massacre was brutal, senseless, and horrible, true; but thousands and thousands of chechens have been murdered, 200,000 left homeless, their whole country levelled, left a pile of rubble.

The Moscow apartment bombings that were blamed on Chechen rebels are widely believed to have been the work of the Russian intelligence services.

There are two sides to every story - without doubt, the Russians are not exactly the "good guys" here. Just because you have a uniform doesn't mean you're not a terrorist.

Also, it's important to note that with the opera hostages, the terrorists didn't kill anybody - it was the russian soldiers who used the wrong gas, they used a gas that was too strong - they meant to knock everybody out but ended up killing everybody.
