I live in the south, in an area where the black/white ratio is around 50/50. From what ive experienced and witnessed in my years of living here, I have never once heard a white person use the "N" word or treat a black person differently than how he treats his friends. If anything, the redneck kids seem to want to be a part of black culture, and listen to their music and go to the same parties and concerts. But the black-on-white racism in the school system is so horrible that teachers have sued, quit, and been fired because of it. The black students curse out the teachers and threaten them but get off because "it's part of their culture" according to the primarily black school board. I really just wish everyone could get along, One of my best friends is mixed and he has a black mother and white father and its nice to see 2 communities joined like that.

i'm not justifying the actions of the black people who beat that white guy, but you have to look at the bigger picture and understand the whole situation. this occurred during the l.a riots, when four white cops where aquited for the beating of a black man.
