It would be much cheaper to fish her body out of the water than to keep her in custody. Stupid morals are always getting in the way...

It didn't seem like she was gonna jump to me....She got out of the car and was "Why is this officer following....AAAARRRGGH" *tackled*
I bet her husband is having a pretty good laugh about this. "Uh yeah...911 my wife said she was gonna jump off the bridge...yeah..I appreciate you sending an officer....oh and uhh operator....tell the officers to use force..she's agressive.....a taser and pepper-spray oughtta do the trick...repeat if necesarry...I repeat...USE FORCE SHE'S DANGEROUS *giggles and rubs hands together* Bye ktnx!"

One day there was a 97 year old woman, who wanted to commit suicide but unfortunately she didn't know where her heart was.
So she calls up her doctor and asked,''Where's my heart located?''
''On a woman, it's usually located under the left breast,'' the doctor replied.
The next day the woman was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a gun shot wound to the knee.

Slamdawg: No, no charges for failure to stop or evasion would be filed. The fact that this person is so emotionally distraught that they are attempting to harm themselves precludes any non-violent charges being put against them. Now if she were to have rammed the officer's car or hurt someone else, yes I could see charges being filed, but would be very surprised if she were convicted.
Cat: You would be amazed at how quickly someone motivated to hurt themselves or other people can move when they want to. Dynamic intervention is needed because of the liability that deputy faced if she managed to jump. I know it looks brutal hon, but it saved her life.
Scott: Question for you. How would you feel if you were in a very bad accident, critically injured and the paramedics came over to you and said: "Screw him, it's easier to scoop him into a body bag than it is to try and save his life. Let him die." I realize you like to put shocking tags on your videos, but I am starting to have serious doubts about your sense of decency or humanity.

I didn't know Farvs was a Cop. Well, I guess I can forgive the anti-catholic comments from the other day.
Hey, she is lucky that is all they did. I think the cops actions were justified in light of the situation. She was trying to put the car back into Drive people...

@ Humannn..... It bothered me because of how rough he was with her. She's a distraught person. Couldn't he have spoken to her first? She had her empty hands in front of her. And he just slams her, grabs her by the head and then pepper sprays her? She was terrified of him and that's why she wouldn't get out of the car. It wasn't until another officer arrives and she starts telling the 1st cop: Leave me alone! Go away! "Was just trying to help, you Maam." She went quietly with the other officer.
So, yes.... I thought he was being a bully.
@ Farvs..... I understand where you're coming from. I respect the police very much. But I just can't help but feel that this particular cop could have handled this differently. Umkay? *smooch*

Farvs or Frankenleg, if either of you read this, I have a question for you: In a situation such as this, would any charges be filed against the person for attempted evasion or something? I mean, she was depressed and suicidal, but didn't hurt anyone. She wasn't even driving fast.
