i have a lot of muslim friends they mostly disagreed with the war but not one of them likes sadam of the leaders of any abrab states thats why they left the country in the first place. as far as local muslims in there own country the're like you for the most part and don't like talking the're country/goverment down. Most of them see islam the same way the US sees christianty you nearly all beleive in it, it plays a big part in you're politics, but no of you really follow the teachings of you respected prophets, you just follow the local conventions.

Hi everyone! I just got registered in NT although I have watched more than 200vids already. I really enjoy some of the comments and i particularly like when i read the background of the story from someone who knows what exactly happened. As I am from Greece its my turn to lay down the FACTS on this vid.
For years now our educational system is going down the drain, and for a very good reason. The MAN wants to keep you as stupid as possible, and make you become an efficient worker who can easily design lets say a hydroelectric plan, but cant decide for himself whats right or wrong. Because if the majority of people had the intellectual capacity to actually understand that they have got us trapped in a two-pole (american made -no offence intended) bullshit political system and are robbing our wealth, destroying our forests (more than 1000 fires during the summer, just to make land out of them) and depriving us of certain rights of privacy, so that they can control us easier, you would see revolutionary action, not just riots. (wow long sentence)
Anyway after they fucked up the entire educational system beyond recognition, they decided it would be really civilized of our part to have private universities, which is not bad, unless you have destroyed public education on purpose. Let me elaborate a bit in case you havent got it yet. All the rich assholes will have an excellent education, whille the poor and doomed get stupider by the year, which can only lead our society to have a 2.5% of well educated people and 97.5% of gullible idiots who swallow every lie the news spit in their faces. And those who even understand whats going on, have to work like dogs just to get by, and if you are exhausted every day you dont have much time to think or act ( minimum wage in greece 800euros, its really hard to raise a family with this kind of money in the EU)
Around 90% of all Greeks opposed to this reform and yet they passed it. Doesnt sound very democratic to me. So we organized massive protests and amongst the protesters were very frustrated people who knew that the only way to make the government take them into consideration was violent riots. Sad but true.
The riots take place in the center of Athens, not the university. Now lets talk about the police a little. Policemen everywhere are divided in two major categories: Pigs and good honest men. The riot police in Greece is consisted of Pigs. Almost with no exception. As much as i like an honest policeman who is not prejudiced or on a power trip,
I cant stand pigs for a minute. So dont feel sorry for the flaming pigs, they deserve it.(search greek police brutality in youtube)
Most of the scenes in this vid shows the anarchist block fighting the police, although many more where involved and most of them not anarchists. So I hope a lot of you out there understand that some of the riots in Greece are necessary despite the fact that most of them seem futile. I cant imagine how worse things would be if a small part of the population didnt stand up against those fascists.
Anyway i hope you got my point and how things are in greece and in many other countries, including dare i say the US of A.
