This is an old clip so half of you have probably already seen it, but I can't figure this out. The officer tells him to get up, and when he does, he gets shot for it three times.

Ok, normally I'm all for our police force and give them the benifit of the doubt.....but there's no doubt here. WTF would you shoot a guy after you told him to get up? I'd sue that department for everything they had.

Sorry but I have to say I'm with the cop on this one... I mean he was supposed to resist when he told him to stand up he did thus confusing the cop because he the cop isnt use to the suspects listening to him so when he stood up he shot him... Ummm yea bull shit flag!!! Another cop abusing his authority and will more than likely get away with it......

The victim is Elio Carrion and the cop is Deputy Ivory Webb. Webb could face as much as 35yrs in prison, and he should!
Airman Shot by SoCal Deputy Files Suit
Actually by the looks of things the deputy is going to lose on this one. When he tells the guy to get up dude has BOTH hands flat on the ground as he pushes himself upright. He never even got fully to his feet before the deputy opened fire. I can't see the slightest reason for the deputy to think he was in danger or for him to open fire. Bad shooting IMHO, and he needs to lose his job for it.
