Moving forward a few feet would've been the obvious preventative solution here, but I guess letting the train crush your truck like a damn pop can works too. In case you forgot how powerful a train really is, check out the damage it does.

Clear signs of the danger all over (visual warnings), a dog-on rail track, loud as-fuck locomotive and crossing aproach horns (sound warnings), and he still went for it. I am sure the few seconds he tried to save by taking the cossing cost him more than he could ever have imagine!!! Autarchic is right on the money.
