Very odd that both wings failed at exactly the same time. You would expect that as soon as one wing broke, the stress on the other wing would immediately be alleviated and it would remain in tact.
Very odd... Very sad. 
So what did we all learn here? 1. Planes don't fly for shit when the wings fall off (unless they are an F-15). 2. Non-performance aircraft will fail shortly after attempting demanding maneuvers. Oh yeah, a parachute wouldn't have saved any of them; too close to the ground and no way to get out of the plane to begin with.

The pilot was the husband of the woman announcer at the air show. No kidding. Listen to her. And the G's were exceeded for that aircraft.
